About the Founder of Isis, Lotus of Alexandria Lyceum

While attending a book signing and lecture given by deTraci Regula, for her book, “The Mysteries of Isis” I was “claimed” by Isis. The presence of the Goddess was keenly felt that night by several others in attendance. My teacher for priestess training was John Merron of Elen of the Green Ways Lyceum, in London England. Ordination took place in October of 1997 at Isis Oasis during the FOI Convocation, and was officiated by Olivia Robertson. My sponsors were John Merron, AU and ArchDruid, who came from London to attend the ordination ceremony, and deTraci Regula, AU and ArchDruidess, and author of "The Mysteries of Isis".

I am certified within the Fellowship of Isis as Adept, Priestess, Hierophant, Solar Alchemist, Grand Dame Commander of the Noble Order of Tara and ArchDruidess of the Druid Clan of Dana.  I was appointed by Lady Olivia as a member of the Circle of Isis Advisory Board of the Fellowship of Isis, and designated by her as "Honorary Secretary" of the Circle of Isis Advisory Board. I am legally ordained as a Priestess through the Temple of Isis. In October of 2009 I was made a founding member of the ArchDruid Union and the Grand Commander Union. These two new unions join the ArchPriesthood Union to form the Fellowship of Isis Foundation Union Triad as custodians of the legacy of the Fellowship of Isis.

My artwork and writing have appeared in Isian News, The Isis Papers, Oasis (The Journal of the Temple of Isis), Mirror of Isis, Isis-Seshat, SageWoman, PanGaia and Green Man.

Being a Priestess is both a privilege and a responsibility. I renew my vows to the Goddess daily. While undergoing my own internal process of growth and change; I reach out to others, helping them as they go through their own transformation. The path of compassion leads to wisdom and engenders strength of spirit. Our Lady Isis can manifest in all Her glorious Divinity wherever the force of kriyashakti, the power of love, resides.

Loving Blessings to All,

Linda Iles, ArchDrs., G.D.C., Solar Alchemist
Priestess Hierophant

For this reason they call the first of the Muses at Hermopolis Isis as well as Justice:  for she is wise, as I have said, and discloses the divine mysteries to those who truly and justly have the name of "bearers of the sacred vessels" and "wearers of the sacred robes."  These are they who within their own soul, as though within a casket, bear the sacred writings about the gods clear of all superstition and pedantry..."
