It is the policy of the Fellowship of Isis to respect all issues of copyright and the hard work of other members. Copyright of Fellowship of Isis Liturgy on our Global Websites must be respected by all FOI members.

Members of the Circle of Isis have performed duties of copy editor of the liturgy with my full acknowledgement and warm gratitude.

The liturgy content on the Circle of Isis Global Website is to remain the legacy of the Circle of Isis Advisory Board, under the aegis of the Temple of Isis, to the Fellowship of Isis. It is to be presented through no other source without prior arrangement and unanimous consent of Circle of Isis members.

About the Text and Format of the FOI Liturgy on this Website

The Liturgy of the Fellowship of Isis presented on the Circle of Isis Global FOI Website is the result of a period of research that extended over several years and a period of typing the final drafts that extended over one year. The format of the rituals is clear and precise, making them easy to read and perform. The minor changes in format have not altered the wording of the rituals.

The complete text of the liturgy has been carefully restored, corrected and preserved on these webpages.

Each rite contains corrections of all typographical errors and misspellings, poetry entries returned to their proper format, and the inclusion of omitted text.

In addition to the previously mentioned corrections, the rituals of the FOI Liturgy that appear on these webpages contain previously unpublished corrections to the original liturgy text.

The corrections made to the liturgy as presented on this website are based on the following:

(1) The purchasing of copies of the books quoted as sources for the rites to aid in researching the corrections.

(2) Obtaining first edition copies of the FOI liturgy books issued by Cesara Publications from Clonegal Castle.

(3) Checking the older versions of the rites with those presented in later editions of the FOI Liturgy.

(4) Checking the rites in the books with versions that appeared in the Isian News.

(5) Checking all issues concerning text and format with Lady Olivia Robertson directly, in person and by letter.

The letter below was written by Olivia at Isis Oasis after reviewing the last of the corrections, edits and revisions, prior to the publishing of the Circle of Isis website on November 19, 2005.

Our copyright notice, presented on bottom of every page of the COI website, contains more information on our private agreement concerning the FOI liturgy and related materials with Lady Olivia Robertson.

Due to the corrections, altering of format and all other proofing, research, typing, editing and revisions within the FOI Liturgy presented on the Circle of Isis website, it is considered by law, a legally separate work, thus protected by a separate, legal copyright.

The FOI liturgy on the Circle of Isis website, which is legally protected by a separate copyright, is therefore not included in any sharing of copyright of the liturgy that Olivia Robertson may decide to extend to other FOI members.

All content on the Circle of Isis website, including written materials, photos and the liturgy are protected by copyright and not to be reproduced without first acquiring permission of the COI Advisory Board. Permission is only obtained through unanimous vote by members of the COI Advisory Board.
