Lady Olivia Attends for the First Time

Loreon writes: “Although Lady Olivia could not attend our first gatherings, she did eventually come and visit. Her brother Lawrence, Lord Strathloch, had died and she decided to brave the flight and tour the U.S.A.

All was in readiness for her arrival and we had a marvelous time with her. We performed plays in the theatre and danced with Olivia one evening. She was so full of life and energy, it was a challenge for some of us to keep up with her, which was remarkable, considering her age. We spoke together of many things, including ways to make the Fellowship of Isis grow, and ways to make Isis Oasis a center for the Goddess. Olivia, being very wise, shared her wisdom with us freely. Her energy flowed from every pore of her small body and her amazing power was felt by all.

After the event, I brought Olivia to San Francisco and drove her out to see the Pacific ocean. There, in the sand we wrote cryptic messages and watched the waves flow over them, washing our magical writings out to Isis of the Sea.

I arranged for Olivia to present a talk about Isis and the role of the Fellowship of Isis as a focal point in the emerging awareness of the Goddess taking place worldwide. This was at the Amron Center, a metaphysical church run by some very wonderful people. This church brought many profound programs to the public. The founder of this church, Norma Tringali came to Isis Oasis often, and used Isis Oasis as a retreat centre for herself and other members of her mystery school. They were so inspired by Olivia’s talk that Isis became very important to many of them.

It was a wonderful and uplifting experience to have Olivia as part of our annual FOI gathering. She has attended every convocation since that time.”

Arisa Victor has shared her memories of this event. She writes: “I was thrilled when Lady Olivia came that first year to the Convocation. The thing I remember most is that Lady Olivia knew deTraci and I immediately. She was especially delighted to meet deTraci in person; I suppose they had corresponded a lot. A thrill went through me as I witnessed their strong connection. It has been deeply moving to witness all the glorious people, events, and magical happenings at the Temple of Isis over the years.”

And deTraci remembers sitting to talk with Olivia, who proceeded to bring out paper, paints and brush to create a very lovely painting of the Goddess Isis. It was their first physical meeting, but as Arisa had observed, they had been in regular contact over the years. Lady Olivia credits deTraci’s book, “The Mysteries of Isis” to bringing many people to the Fellowship of Isis.
