Preface

New Beginnings

In 1999, I wrote of the Dawning of the Aquarian Age. We call this ‘new beginning’ by many names, the Millennium since Christ’s birth, the New Age for Paganism or the Egyptian Coming Forth by Day - in this instance the Day being an Age of Ra - we ourselves can experience a fresh start, an Initiation if we so choose. We may co-create with the Deities in transforming our world. A ‘new beginning’ can be brought about at any time within ourselves - if we are open and ready to receive. The Golden Age as described by mystics and poets exists on the Inner Planes - Now!

It was during the changing over to the twenty-first century, the New Millenium, that something wonderful occurred in our temple. A true Synchronicity. We fortuitously introduced “mirror-magic” into our rites. Owing to the thickness of the castle walls, we were able to put two large mirrors either side of a window in our temple. We did this with two windows to augment light, and found that we had created a reflective fractal. If we could multiply our statue of Isis thus, how about one candle set in the window in the Irish signal to absent friends? At harvest we could multiply wheat - from a crop circle on occasion - to feed the hungry. What is performed magically can affect material events. So we now multiply a chalice of our holy well water in our ceremonies - the grael of the new Aquarian Age. The Goddess does not subtract, She adds - ad infinitum!

It would be lovely if all could psychically attune with our Temple of Isis at Foundation Centre while at their own altars - theirs mirroring ours - hearths of the Goddess psychically linked. The mirrors represent the moon - a candle, the sun, joined as if in an eclipse, lunar and solar circles joined, ISIS and OSIRIS - a cosmic Vesica Piscis. We may place crystals, images of Deities, photos, sacred art, food, drink - anything can be multiplied to bring beauty and wholeness.

To augment this use of static objects, a rainbow network of communication is formed. But how? Simple. The smoke of incense on the simplest altar coils and wreathes itself in unending spirals forming a spiritual network. It spirals from a Goddess altar in our temple to altars of members around the world, then rises into spiritual spheres.

May We Come Forth by Day!

Note: Lady Olivia Robertson says this preface is based on a previously written open letter of hers that was published in Isian News Number 94, Samhain, 1999. It is included here by her request, with alterations and additions she has personally made. The names 'ISIS' and 'OSIRIS'  when written in all capital letters according to Lady Olivia, represent all Goddesses as Isis and all Gods as Osiris.
