The Convocation
of the
Fellowship of Isis
Isis Oasis, Geyserville, California
Sponsored by the Temple of Isis

October 11 - 14, 1996

Dedicated to the Neter of Ancient Egypt

Olivia Robertson attended the Convocation in Geyserville for the second time. Olivia was inspired to bless the Theatre building on the grounds of Isis Oasis, saying that she was psychically impressed that it would someday become the main Temple, and as of 2008, that has come to pass. She also gave a guided visualization and talk. Other presentations were offered by Elizabeth Kelley, Caite Mathis, Le'ema, Arisa Victor, deTraci Regula and Loreon Vigne. deTraci's presentation was titled "On Hearing the Call of Isis".

Loreon introduced her Neter Yoga to those attending. This type of yoga is based on a series of positions that gently stretch and strengthen muscles in the body, through assuming poses based on those of Deities, as shown in ancient Egyptian art.

Neter Yoga always begins by honoring Ra in the East. Afterwards, Loreon writes: "Do whichever deities seem appropriate to you for the day. You may need the strength of Sekhmet or the gentleness of Bast. It is well to know the gods and goddesses so you can create the necessary poses and be imbued with their energy and magic.

After performing Neter Yoga for the day, sit for at least 15 minutes before your altar or sacred space. You may call upon Isis with an invocation or song. Then sit in quiet meditation for the balance of the time. You may wish to listen to music or be in silence - but simply try to clear your mind and for forth into the day unencumbered by the burdens of yesterday and fearless of tomorrow. Be here now, and be the best person you know how to be. Live in truth.

In the evening, go to your altar and thank Isis for what she has bestowed upon you. Try to see all as a blessing. Each day attempt o accomplish something of merit that might benefit others, or the earth. It might be just a small gesture but if all of us were concerned with such matters it would not take long to add a great deal of light to the universe."

The Convocation was still small, and there was more unstructured time during the day than exists presently. Elizabeth says this was the year she and Olivia went shopping in a nearby town and Olivia picked out a very special dress for her!
